Landscape-Structure Interactions // 2016
This project focuses on constructing intricate and developed curves using simple triangulated surfaces. Using this technique, the project spanned both digital and physical spaces and investigated the relationships between the two. In particular, I chose to investigate the interactions between structure and landscape. By distilling complex geometries through 8 iterations of this project, I developed twisted tube shapes which rise out of the landscape, form together, and then break apart once again and blend back into the landscape. In later iterations, I utilized gradient colours to emphasize this idea of blended landscape and structure.
